This drug is contra-indicated in patients undergoing elective surgery, in those taking any central nervous system depressant drugs, or any similar disorders, and in patients taking anti-parkinsonism medication In addition, it should preferably not be used in nursing mothers, and all patients taking the medication should be monitored closely for unusual behavior, suicidal ideas, or any worsening clinical symptoms
This drug is contra-indicated in patients with a suspected allergy to it
