Behaviour: Self Harm

Self-harm is any action or behaviour which deliberately causes pain, injury or suffering to onself. It is usually an extreme way of trying to deal with distressing or painful feelings. Self-harm includes cutting, burning or hitting onself, binge-eating or starvation, or repeatedly placing onself in dangerous situations. Self-harm may also include drug and alcohol abuse.
