Body Temperature Below Normal (Hypothermia)

A state in which the body's normal temperature regulation mechanisms is unable to cope with a something that is making the body cold. The person usually experiences confusion or sleepiness, slow/slurred speech with shallow breathing, a weak pulse with low blood pressure, a change in behaviour and/or appearance in cold weather, excess shivering or stiffness in the arms and legs, poor body control and slowed reactions.
