Cystitis (Inflammation of the Bladder)

Cystitis is an infection of the urinary tract that causes the bladder to become inflammed. More women are affected than men. It can occur at any age. Signs and symptoms include pain or burning during urination, a dull ache in the lower abdomen, the need to frequently pass urine, and urine which smells. Urine may contain bloor or appear cloudy.
