Glucose Intolerance

Glucose intolerance is an umbrella term used for metabolic conditions that result in higher than normal blood glucose levels (hyperglycemia). Glucose intolerance includes anyone with either impaired fasting glucose (IFG) or impaired glucose tolerance (IGT).
