Head: Increased Pressure or Size due to Fluid Accumulation (Hydrocephalus)

Hydrocephalus is also known as "water on the brain". Hydrocephalus refers to a buildup of fluid in the ventricles of the brain, resulting in pressure and abnormal enlargement of the brain cavities. Left untreated, hydrocephalus can result in brain damage or even death. This condition can be managed with surgery.
