Intestinal Lipodystrophy

Intestinal lipodystrophy, also known as Whipple's Disease, is caused when the lining of the small intestine is damaged by Tropheryma whippelii infection. It is a rare infectious disease when prevents the small intestines from properly absorbing nutrients.
