Meningitis

Meningitis is when the meninges, or the tissue which surrounds the brain and the spinal cord, becomes inflamed. It is more common in those who have trouble fighting infections. Viral menigitis is the most common form, with bacterial menigitis (although rare) another potentially deadly form.
