Pulmonary Fibrosis

Pulmonary fibrosis occurs when the lung tissue becomes scarred over time. The thick, stiff scar tissue makes it difficult for the lungs to work properly. Signs and symptoms include shortness of breath, a dry cough, fatigue, unexplained weight loss, and aching muscles and joints.
